Our mission: Craft a stunning website that sparks travel passion and unites adventurers. Here, every click leads to unforgettable journeys.
This is a personal project to showcase my design skills by reimagining Wayfarer, a conceptual travel platform for young adventurers aged 21-30.

Once a popular tool, Wayfarer was fading in a crowded digital space. I set out to revamp its design, creating a fresh and modern interface to reignite its appeal and inspire new exploration.
PROCESS
Wayfarer’s leadership noticed a decline in engagement—higher bounce rates and fewer users exploring beyond the homepage.

Recognizing a need for change, I took on the challenge to redesign the platform and bring back its spark as the go-to tool for travel discovery.
I started with hand-drawn wireframes to create a clear, intuitive layout for both desktop and mobile. The focus was on clean design and easy navigation.

In Figma, I refined these concepts, enhancing the adventurous style of the platform. The final design used bold visuals and dynamic elements, balancing aesthetics with usability.
OUTCOME.
The new Wayfarer design was vibrant and user-focused. The desktop version featured compelling visuals, a dynamic video intro, and engaging forums for community-building.

The mobile version mirrored this energy but was optimized for smaller screens, ensuring key features like search and sign-up were easy to access, delivering a consistent and smooth experience across devices.
The "Don't Know Where to Start?" section in the Wayfarer case study is designed to guide users who are unsure of their travel destination.

This feature ensures that even indecisive users can easily discover exciting travel options and begin their journey with confidence.

IMPACT
Though a personal project, the redesign had clear potential benefits: a modern look to lower bounce rates and deeper user engagement, and community forums to foster connections among travelers.

This refreshed design would help Wayfarer retain its users and attract new ones, reinforcing its place as a trusted, vibrant resource for young explorers.
